No. 41 Houston’s Friday matchup against No. 31 Oklahoma State has been canceled, giving the Cougars an automatic win.

Their record now stands at 15-5 overall, with a 5-5 mark in conference play.

The team announced that the match was canceled because the Cowgirls did not have enough available players. The team also forfeited its match against BYU last Saturday.

Under ITA and NCAA rules, Oklahoma State was forced to forfeit because a match cannot be played without a minimum of four eligible players.

The Cougars will now turn their attention to their final home game of the regular season on Sunday, April 5, when they take on the Kansas State Wildcats on senior day.
