Former Arizona State safety Myles “Ghost” Rowser committed to Houston football on Monday night, Matt Zentiz of CBS Sports first reported on X.
Rowser earned All-Big 12 honors in 2025 after totaling 84 tackles, 48 of which were solo, as well as four tackles for loss.
Rowser announced his intent to return to college football and enter the transfer portal on Aug. 14 following a preliminary injunction that grants fifth year eligibility to high school class of 2022 athletes.
The addition came hours after coach Willie Fritz told the media that former wide receiver Stephon Johnson was returning to the team thanks to the same ruling.
Rowser, who spent two seasons with the Sun Devils after beginning his college career at Campbell and New Mexico State, accepted a rookie minicamp invitation to join the Seattle Seahawks after going undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft.
