Houston men’s basketball will play defending conference champion Arizona twice, among others, as part of its Big 12 conference schedule, which was revealed on Thursday.
It’s the second consecutive year that the Cougars and Wildcats have faced off both at home and on the road.
The opponents Houston will play home-and-away are Arizona, Texas Tech and Colorado.
Houston’s home-only schedule consists of Kansas, Iowa State, BYU, Oklahoma State, TCU and Utah.
The Cougars will compete on the road against Cincinnati, Arizona State, Baylor, UCF, Kansas State and West Virginia.
This upcoming season marks the first time since joining the Big 12 that Houston will not travel to Allen Fieldhouse to face Kansas.
Houston is coming off a 14-4 conference mark from last season, in which it finished second in the standings. Across its first three seasons in the Big 12, Houston has compiled a 48-8 mark in regular-season play.
Dates and game times will be announced later.
Houston opens the season on Monday, Nov. 2, against La Salle at Fertitta Center.
