Houston women’s golf learned its NCAA regional fate on Wednesday afternoon inside Athletics-Alumni Center, announced on the @GolfChannel.

The Cougars earned the No. 5 seed in the Simpsonville Regional, hosted by Louisville May 11-13 at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Ky.

The team has maintained a lot of momentum going into the postseason after its historic runner-up finish in the Big 12 Conference Championship.

The Cougars will now look to carry over that same level of play as they seek advancement to the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship Finals May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
