Houston senior wide receiver Stephon Johnson’s season is over, he announced on his Instagram Sunday evening.

Johnson, after being listed as doubtful, then game-time decision, did not play in Houston’s 31-28 win over Arizona.

He had been in a low boot the entire week leading up to the game on Saturday.

He first suffered the foot injury against Oklahoma State, after beginning the game with three early catches in the first quarter.

Johnson, one of Houston’s veterans in the receiving room and in his third year as a Cougar, had totaled 275 yards and two touchdowns this season.

No further information is available at this time.
