Oneal Delancy, a 2027 four-star combo guard out of Montverde Academy, committed to Houston men’s basketball Wednesday afternoon, per his Instagram.
“Cougar nation, let’s do it,” Delancy said on the post.
A top-50 player nationally in the high school class of 2027, Delancy chose Houston over Florida, Florida State, South Florida and Maryland, among others.
Delancy is a St. Petersburg, Fla. native, and is the No. 9 player in his class per 247. As a junior, he averaged 13.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
