Three players from Houston women’s golf received All-Big 12 honors Friday.
Senior Moa Svedenskiöld earned an All-Big 12 Conference First Team selection for her third postseason conference squad appearance. She leads the Cougars with a 71.93 scoring average and five top-10 finishes.
Senior Natalie Saint Germain, a Second Team selection, is second in the Cougars with a 72.52 scoring average and 15 rounds of par or lower. She won the Jim West Challenge for the first individual title of her career, finishing 10 under par after posting three straight rounds in the 60s.
Junior Maelynn Kim, also a Second Team selection, is third with a scoring average of 72.58, but leads the team with 16 rounds of par or lower. She leads Houston with three top-five finishes this season, including a second-place finish at the Collegiate Invitational in the spring opener.
All three were instrumental in helping the Cougars earn a second-place finish in the Big 12 Championship at the Dallas Athletic Club on April 25 and earned places in the league’s All-Tournament team with their top-10 finishes.
