Ikenna Alozie, the No. 45-ranked high school player in the nation, per 247sports, committed to the University of Houston Friday afternoon. 

The 6-foot-2 guard, from Dream City Christian had Houston in its list of three finalists, alongside GCU And Alabama. 

Alozie is the eighth-highest rated combo guard in the nation, and the fifth-highest ranked player in the state of Arizona per 247.

He had visited Houston earlier this fall on Oct. 23, one day before touted big man Arafan Diané had his visit with the program. 

Now, Alozie joins him as commits to the school, after Diané made his decision on Wednesday.
