Houston women’s basketball said goodbye to two more players on Thursday, March 26, as it was announced that junior guards Summer Bostock and Shun’teria Anumele would both enter the transfer portal via On3’s Talia Goodman, and later confirmed on both players’ Instagram stories.
Bostock joined the team for the 2024-25 season after spending the previous campaign at Maryland. In her two seasons with Houston, she played 30 games with one start, averaging four points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
Anumele joined the Cougars for the 2025-26 season after spending the 24-25 campaign with Saint Louis.
“Houston, thank you for everything. Being home and playing here meant a lot to me and I’ll always appreciate the love and support,” Anumele said in her farewell statement.
In her lone season at Houston, she played 29 games with one start, averaging 3.4 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.
“I’m grateful for the memories, but I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal and I’m ready for a new chapter. Always love to H-Town.”
